The man you were critiquing about his hermeneutic... is he a covenant theologian. Because if he is not a covenant Theologian he would have a different hermeneutic other than bringing old things into the new as CT does. (Tripartite division) (sabbath) Certain other understanding such as NCT have christocentric historical Redemptive hermeneutic... not as in throw Moses away but understands Moses in light of the cross and new covenant. 1 corth 10 , rom 14
